Introduction
Learners can master the fundamentals of Sit-Astride ATV operation with our intensive course, designed to build confidence and competence in safely handling these versatile vehicles.
Course Summary
Farming and jobs in the agri industry are often thought to be for men, but globally there are 564 million women working in this industry. 24% of the Northern Irish agriculture workforce are women - women who work as many, if not more, hours than men (my wife is one of them, without her support I wouldn’t have achieved what I have).
Women are the fastest-growing group of new farmers and as they enter the workforce, they are redefining what this role means.
Training is important for everyone, however, STS want to celebrate and support women in agriculture by providing a learning environment designed especially for them.
